HISTORY
The company KARATOSIDIS SA is a continuation of the sole proprietorship of Ioakeim Karatosidis which was founded in 1976 in Volos with a primary object of work being the manufacture of molds (cutters, shapers, plastics), but also all kinds of mechanical construction and repair.
In 1984, an important milestone in the development of the business was its transfer from rented to privately owned facilities, located to the 1st industrial area of volos. After continuous extensions, the present total area of the facilites a reaching the 3200sq.m. and 2500sq.m of covered space.
In the year 2002 the sole proprietorship is transformed into a limited liability company under the name I.&I. KARATOSIDIS LTD. Continuing its upward course, the year 2010 is transformed into a public limited company under the name KARATOSIDIS SA.
In its current form, having a highly specialized staff in combination with the modern equipment available in CNC and conventional machines, it is one of the most remarkable machine workshops in the country.
